Stainless Belt Buckle with Glass Bead
Setting glass in stainless steel can be a bit tricky. One must divine all sorts of clever ways to not let the heat of welding get near the glass.
I realize this piece is a bit crude but with my sculpture equipment,Arc welder,plasma cutter etc. it's little like doing brain surgery with a chain saw...
As with my other glass settings,the back is cut away to allow for the occasional ambient light to get in there.

You did a very nice job indeed!!! It is incredible difficult to set a stone/glass into steel/iron. Beautiful piece!
